Deepening Connection to Yourself & Others
You can access greater support, clarify your needs, and build your confidence so that you can embrace living and loving.
Life circumstances, trauma, difficult relationships, disappointments, loss, and mood problems can erode your confidence and muddle the way you see yourself and others. It may leave you unhappy, stuck, or lost.
Through psychotherapy, you can build your inner strength, reduce or eliminate suffering, reconnect to the best parts of yourself and clear away the obstacles that get in the way of truly living and loving.
With over 20 years experience, you will receive my undivided attention and your treatment will be tailored to your individual needs and personality.

Fees and Insurance

I occasionally change my fees and I offer a variety of services. Please contact me to discuss your specific needs.
For psychotherapy services conducted in my Vancouver, WA office, I am in-network with the following insurance panels:
Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield (Oregon and Washington), Pacific Source, Aetna, Lifewise, and Blue Cross Premera.
Please contact your insurance to confirm network status for your particular plan. For those who wish to use their out of network benefits, I'll provide you with a “superbill” that you may send to your insurance or HSA account for reimbursement.

Extensive Training in Specialized Trauma Treatment

Whether you've encountered a “one time” incident such as a loss, accident, or medical crisis, or “multiple traumas” through repeated abuse or exposure to traumatic experiences, you can receive a significant reduction in traumatic symptoms in a relatively short amount of time through the use of EMDR and other trauma-related interventions.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective to treat trauma. It is used to reduce and remove unwanted images, negative thoughts, and intense emotion associated with traumatic experiences.
As a certified clinical trauma professional who has also undergone comprehensive training to provide EMDR, you can work though even the darkest experiences with a seasoned clinician.

Supporting Parents Throughout Their Pregnancies and into Parenthood

Though entering parenthood is usually exciting, for many it can become a minefield of heartbreak and fear.
I have a special interest and unique specialty working with parents to overcome the trauma and grief associated with infertility, birth trauma, pregnancy and infant loss, and post-partum mood difficulties.
I support parents throughout their pregnancies and into parenthood to build the strength and inner resources needed to nurture themselves and their children.
I am clean and sober, happy, and in a relationship where my ability to communicate my feelings is noticed and appreciated. I owe this largely to our sessions and continue to employ the techniques that you introduced. Thank you so much for the help you gave me in straightening out my life!

It feels amazing to know that all the work we did together was critical in helping me be able to bring myself out into the world. I really wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for the work we did together and you helped me do for myself.
